For nearly 2,000 years, Britannia has been celebrated as the personification of Britain and the protector of the British. The classic bronze pence is one of Britain’s most famous and highly collected coins and these striking coins trace the history of Britain through the years — and, although the obverse portrait changed in the 20th century to reflect the progression of monarchs from Queen Victoria to Queen Elizabeth II, the reverse never varied from the iconic image of Britannia, armed with a trident and shield to protect Britain’s shores.
The first shipment will contain two coins; subsequent shipments will contain four coins and will be sent every month. All coins are in collectible circulated condition with most major design details visible. What's more, at no extra charge, a handsome deluxe presentation chest will also be shipped at about the same time as your third coin shipment to store and protect the collection.
