The Harriet Tubman silver dollar is a tribute to one of the most extraordinary women in U.S. history. A former enslaved person, Tubman courageously guided at least 70 enslaved people to freedom along the Underground Railroad.

The second U.S. Silver Dollar commemorative minted in 2024 is an homage to the men and women of World War II who made incredible sacrifices for liberty and democracy. These heroes are appropriately known as the Greatest Generation. This silver dollar honors them by showing images of the National World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Each commemorative silver dollar is struck by the U.S. Mint in the beauty of 99.9% pure silver and is the same large size as a classic Morgan Silver Dollar.
