The original Statehood Quarters series was a groundbreaking celebration of America. Mandated by Congress, it captured the nation’s interest with its innovative designs and limited editions. Each state’s coin was issued for only about 10 weeks before the dies were retired and destroyed. The last coin was released more than a decade ago — and despite overwhelming demand and rapidly vanishing supplies, the U.S. Mint is prohibited from striking even a single one of these coins ever again!

The original Statehood Quarters were issued at the rate of five per year and in the order in which the states joined the Union — and this collection brings together all 50 state coins, from the first, Delaware, in 1999 to the 50th, Hawaii, in 2008. The collection also includes the coin issued for our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., in 2009. This is a truly complete and unbroken collection that you will be proud to own and to pass down for generations to come!

To provide the ideal presentation for your historic collection, each original Statehood Quarter is presented in gleaming uncirculated condition and set into a custom panel that features full-color images highlighting the state’s most famous landmarks and iconic images — from the Alamo in Texas to the legendary Hollywood sign in California and the Statue of Liberty in New York. The panels are then preserved in a crystal-clear holder allowing you the opportunity to safely examine each unique coin design without fear of damage from dust, dirt or fingerprints. What’s more, the collection also comes with a wooden storage chest to organize and protect the coins and their collector panels. The chest will be sent at about the same time as the second coin shipment.
